Zhiyu Chen assumed his duty as Walmart China Vice President, Sam’s Club E-Commerce since July 2017, and later Walmart China Vice President, Sam’s Club E-Commerce, Marketing and Membership, overseeing and developing Sam’s Club E-Commerce program in China. Including Sam’s APP, Sam’s JD Flagship Store, Sam’s WeChat etc.
Prior to his current role, Zhiyu held several positions at Alibaba Group including Chief Commercial and Product Officer of Aliexpress, Head of Alipay International Financial Products etc. Prior to Alibaba Group, Zhiyu was VP, Transactional FX at Barclays Bank.
Zhiyu has a degree in Engineering from Zhejiang University and a post graduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from Oxford University, UK.
